Unlimited data upgrades: Extra help for the children who need it

With schools closed once again and remote learning back on the cards, we believe now, more than ever, children need to have access to connectivity.

That’s why we’ve been working with the Department for Education to provide unlimited data upgrades to children who may have been disadvantaged or vulnerable as a result of COVID.

If a child is identified as having no internet access at home, their school can request free, additional data through the DfE’s Get Help with Technology programme. This unlimited data will be applied until the end of the school year in July.

Elin Mclean, our General Manager here at SMARTY said: “It’s really important that during these times all children have access to education and don’t miss out. SMARTY wants to support those families that need connectivity and to support their child’s learning needs during the pandemic.”

If you think your child could benefit from a data top up, please contact your school to request help.
