What you’ll need.

All you need to clean your headlights up is a common toothbrush (soft or medium, without any plastic added bristles to avoid scratching) and some fluoride toothpaste of any kind.

Let’s find out how it’s done.

First, you’ll need to pop the toothpaste onto the brush and rub it into your headlight covers. Press the toothbrush hard into the covers, and move it in a circular motion to catch all the dirt you’re aiming to remove. Also, watch the paint on the bonnet around the headlights; we’d hate to see you damaging your car!

Done scrubbing? Just leave the toothpaste there for a few minutes, and then rub in some clean warm water in the same way you applied the toothpaste. Once the covers are completely rinsed, you can dry them off with an old towel, or let them dry naturally.

Now that’s a job well done!

Au voila! You should have a set of dirt-free headlights and a clear view of the open road ahead of you, meaning your adventures don’t have to end when the sun sets.
