5G yippee!

Great news. 5G will be coming to SMARTY.

We’re proud that SMARTY 5G will be powered by Three, who are currently building the UK’s fastest 5G network, with twice as much 5G spectrum as anyone else.

Blackspots? Loss of signal? Infinity loop on your Netflix app? They’ll all soon be things of the past. But before 5G arrives, we want you to enjoy our 3G and 4G services in all their streaming glory.

Right now, we’re concentrating on making network improvements that’ll ensure you have the best coverage possible. In the coming months we’ll be rolling out upgrades like WiFi Calling, which will enable you to make calls from your phone even if you don’t have great reception indoors. Plus, we’ll be able to advise you on any planned outages on the horizon.

In real terms, this means we’re making RAN and transmission upgrades to our existing masts in the most congested areas, so you’ll be able to call, browse, stream and snap away. Worry-free.
